Karla hails from the Los Angeles area but moved to San Diego in 2000. After spending four years with the Los Angeles Police Department, she transferred to the Oceanside Police Department, where she spent another 19 years serving the citizens of Oceanside. Some of Karla’s assignments included patrol, field training officer, and the neighborhood policing team, where she served a sector of the city as the liaison officer to the residents and business owners. She spent the last eight years of her career working as a detective, investigating property crimes.
In July of 2023, Karla became a member of our team at Alpha Omega Investigations. Alpha Omega provides invaluable support to our attorney clients by meticulously reviewing all aspects of a case to capture key data to ensure greater justice for your clients. This includes but is not limited to reviewing police reports, surveying sites, locating and interviewing essential witnesses, finding at-fault parties, conducting scene canvasses and inspections, locating, surveilling and serving third parties, and researching property and company ownership.
Karla has a bachelor’s degree in journalism, with the emphasis on Public Relations, and a minor in Sociology. In her free time, Karla enjoys traveling to Tennessee, hanging out with friends and her college-age children, and spending time with her fiancé Jason and her dogs Jasper and Rhino.
