Site inspections of accident scenes, business premises, and private properties are conducted with a litigation-first mindset: we document conditions as they exist, serve letters of preservation to lock in evidence before spoliation occurs, gather client statements on-site, and canvass the surrounding area for witnesses, surveillance cameras, and corroborating physical evidence your team may not have known to look for.
For vehicle-involved cases, our inspections go beyond photographs – we examine mechanical condition, damage patterns, and safety systems relevant to causation and product liability theories. EDR downloads via OBD or D2M systems extract the black box data that tells the objective story of what a vehicle was doing in the seconds before impact: speed, braking input, throttle position, seatbelt status, and airbag deployment. That forensic data is often the difference between a disputed liability case and an undeniable one.
Site inspections and vehicle examinations are billed at a one-hour minimum, in quarter-hour increments thereafter – keeping costs proportionate to what each case actually demands.
